High pressure ball valves are widely used

High pressure ball valves are suitable for pipelines in various working conditions such as petroleum, chemical, and thermal power plants with a pressure range of Class150-2500LB and a working temperature of -28-300 ℃. Their safety and resistance to harsh environments have been specially considered in their design. They are suitable for corrosive and highly oxidizing media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, and urea. The operating methods include manual, pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, and gas-liquid linkage.

The main characteristics of high-pressure ball valves are as follows: 1. When the pressure in the chamber of the American Euco high-pressure ball valve exceeds the pre tightening force of the spring, the valve seat will retract and detach from the ball, achieving automatic pressure relief. After pressure relief, the valve seat will automatically reset.

2. When a fire occurs or the valve seat sealing ring is burned or softened due to abnormal temperature rise, under the pressure of the spring and medium, the spherical part of the support ring and the sphere form a metal to metal contact, achieving temporary sealing effect and preventing the fire from further expanding, in accordance with the provisions of API6FA.

3. The sealing of the packing gland of the high-pressure ball valve adopts a dual sealing ring of PTFR packing and 0-shaped sealing ring, which is particularly suitable for gas media. The packing is installed in the packing disc, and a new SF type self-lubricating sliding bushing with low friction system can be used at any time to reduce operating torque.

High pressure ball valves are mainly used to cut off or connect media in pipelines, and can also be used for fluid regulation and control. Among them, the hard sealed V-shaped ball valve has a strong shear force between its V-shaped core and the metal valve seat welded with hard alloy. High pressure ball valves are particularly suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, and other materials. The multi way ball valve can not only flexibly control the convergence, diversion, and flow direction switching of the medium on the pipeline, but also close any channel and connect the other two channels. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines.

The high-pressure ball valve has a 90 degree rotation action, and the plug body is a sphere with a circular through-hole or channel passing through its axis. Ball valves are mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute, and change the flow direction of the medium. High pressure ball valves can be tightly closed with only 90 degrees of rotation and a small rotational torque. Ball valves are most suitable for use as switches and shut-off valves, but recent developments have designed them to have throttling and flow control functions, such as V-shaped ball valves.

The main characteristics of high-pressure ball valves are compact structure, reliable sealing, simple structure, convenient maintenance, and the sealing surface and spherical surface are often in a closed state, which is not easily eroded by the medium, making them easy to operate and maintain. High pressure ball valves are suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas. High pressure ball valves are also suitable for harsh working conditions such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene, High pressure ball valves are widely used in various industries. The high-pressure ball valve body can be integral or combination type.

Advantages of high-pressure ball valves:

1. The fluid resistance is small, and full bore ball valves have almost no flow resistance.

2. Simple structure, small size, and light weight.

3. Tight and reliable. It has two sealing surfaces, and currently, various plastics are widely used as sealing materials for ball valves, which have good sealing performance and can achieve complete sealing. It has also been widely used in vacuum systems.
