Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves

Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves indicate that they have two sealing surfaces, and currently, the sealing surface materials of hard sealed high-pressure ball valves are widely used with various plastics, which have good sealing performance and can achieve complete sealing. Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves have also been widely used in vacuum systems.

Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves have been widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, and urban centralized heating. The metal elastic valve seat sealing structure has a high friction force due to the lack of clearance between the elastic valve seat and the sphere. The metal floating valve seat sealing structure makes it difficult to seal between the floating valve seat and the valve body. The combination ball valve structure with ball support and open sealing structure increases the processing difficulty and manufacturing cost due to the many components and complex structure, especially for small diameter hard sealed high-pressure ball valves. This structure is obviously not suitable.

The ball of the hard sealed high-pressure ball valve is floating. Under the pressure of the medium, the hard sealed high-pressure ball valve can produce a certain displacement and tightly press on the sealing surface of the outlet end, ensuring the sealing of the outlet end. The structure of high-pressure hard sealed high-pressure ball valves is simple and has good sealing performance. However, the ball bears all the load of the working medium and is transmitted to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. This structure is widely used for medium and low pressure ball valves. 2、 Hard sealed high-pressure ball valve: The ball of the ball valve is elastic. The hard sealed high-pressure ball valve ball and valve seat sealing ring are made of metal materials, with a high sealing pressure ratio. The pressure of the medium itself cannot meet the sealing requirements, and external force must be applied. This type of valve is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure media. An elastic sphere is obtained by opening an elastic groove at the lower end of the inner wall of the sphere. When closing the channel, use the wedge-shaped head of the valve stem to expand the ball and compress the valve seat to achieve sealing. Before rotating the ball, the wedge head of the hard sealed high-pressure ball valve is loosened, and the ball returns to its original shape, creating a small gap between the ball and the valve seat, which can reduce the friction and operating torque of the sealing surface

It is generally believed that hard sealed high-pressure ball valves are most suitable for direct opening and closing use, but in recent years, the development has made ball valves flexible to operate and limit flow to their predetermined values, making hard sealed high-pressure ball valves capable of throttling and controlling flow.

Ball valves are commonly used to cut off or connect media in the extraction, refining, processing, and pipeline transportation systems of oil, natural gas, coal, and ore. Special ball valves and ash discharge valves for coal powder injection are particularly suitable for working conditions such as blast furnace coal powder injection, dust and solid powder pipeline systems, air pipelines, and spray gun pipelines.

Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves are a relatively new type of ball valve. Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves have some unique advantages of their own structure, such as no friction on the switch, less wear on the seal, and small opening and closing torque. This can reduce the specifications of the equipped actuator. Equipped with a multi turn electric actuator, it can achieve adjustment and tight cutting of the medium. Hard sealed high-pressure ball valves are widely used in strict cutting off conditions such as petroleum, chemical, urban water supply and drainage. Manual ball valves are mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute, and change the flow direction of the medium.
