Pressure Relief/Holding Valve 500X-10Q/16Q

The 500X pressure relief valve/holding valve consists of a hydraulic control connecting system consisting of a main valve, a pressure relief/holding pilot valve needle valve, a ball valve, a micro filter, and a pressure gauge. By utilizing hydraulic automatic operation, it can be used as both a pressure relief valve and a pressure holding valve. When used as a pressure relief valve, it can maintain the water supply pressure below the set safety value; Used as a pressure holding valve, it can maintain the upstream water pressure of the main valve above the set value and maintain the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve.

Working principle:

1. Pressure relief valve:When the pressure relief/holding pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure relief state, water flows to the outlet through the needle valve, main valve control room, ball valve A, pressure relief/holding pilot valve, and ball valve B. At this time, the main valve is in the open state. When the inlet pressure exceeds the safety value set by the pressure relief/holding valve, the pressure relief valve will automatically open and release some water through ball valve C to relieve pressure in the pipeline. When the pressure returns to a safe value, the pressure relief valve automatically closes. When working as a pressure relief valve, each ball valve is normally open.
2. Pressure holding valve:When the pressure relief/holding pilot valve is adjusted to the holding state, as long as the inlet water pressure of the main valve is lower than the set value of the pilot valve, the pilot valve will close. The main control room is pressurized and the main valve is closed. When the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pressure holding pilot valve can be opened. The water in the control room is discharged to the outlet through the ball valve, and the pressure reducing main valve in the control room opens to start supplying water, which maintains the upstream water pressure. When used as a pressure holding valve, ball valve C is normally closed or replaced with a plug.
