Manual Floating Stainless Steel Ball Valve Q41F/Q41H/Q41Y

Q41F/Q41H/Q41Y manual floating stainless steel ball valve is an important type of valve, widely used in fields such as petrochemicals and long-distance pipelines. The closing element of a ball valve is a ball (or part of a ball) with a hole, which rotates with the valve stem to achieve the opening or closing of the valve. Among various valves, ball valves have the lowest flow resistance. When the full diameter ball valve is opened, the ball channel, valve body channel, and connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a diameter, and the medium can flow almost without any loss. The ball valve can be fully closed and fully opened by rotating 90 °, with quick opening and closing. Compared with gate valves and globe valves of the same specifications, ball valves have a smaller volume and lighter weight, making them easier to install in pipelines.

Installation precautions for ball valves:
1)During installation and construction, care must be taken to avoid hitting the valve.
2)Before installation, the ball valve should be inspected to verify its specifications and model, and to identify any damage, especially for the valve stem. Rotate it a few more times to see if it is skewed, as the valve stem is most likely to be knocked off during transportation. Also, remove any debris inside the valve.
3)When lifting a ball valve, do not tie the rope to the hand wheel or valve stem to avoid damaging these components. It should be tied to the valve body.
4)The pipeline connected to the ball valve must be cleaned thoroughly. Compressed air can be used to blow away iron oxide shavings, mud and sand, welding slag, and other debris. These debris not only easily scratch the sealing surface of the ball valve, but also block the small valve with large particles (such as welding slag), causing it to fail.
5)Leave a position for the valve handle to rotate during installation.
6)Ball valves cannot be used for throttling.
7)Ball valves with transmission mechanisms should be installed upright.
