The working principle of PZ41H slag discharge gate valve is used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. Different materials are selected and can be applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing medium, urea, etc. It has three forms of body cover connection design,
The first type is a forged steel gate valve with a body cover welded connection. Valves designed according to this connection form have a fully welded seal between the valve body and the valve cover, with the advantage of no external leakage
The second method is to connect the forged steel gate valve with the body cover bolt. The valve designed according to this connection form has a bolt connection between the valve body and the valve cover, and a spiral wound gasket seal. The advantage is that it is easy to maintain.
The third type is a pressure self tightening forged steel gate valve with a valve cover. The valve is designed according to this connection form, and the valve body and valve cover are connected by screws. The internal pressure self sealing ring is used for sealing. The advantage is that the greater the internal pressure, the better the sealing performance.
Installation and usage instructions for PZ41H slag discharge gate valve:
- All types of manual valves installed on insulated pipelines must not have their handles facing downwards.
- The installation position, height, and inlet/outlet direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.
- Before the installation of forged steel gate valves, a visual inspection must be carried out, and the valve nameplate should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "General Valve Markings" GB 12220. For valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and serving as a cut-off on the main pipeline, strength and tightness tests should be conducted before installation. Only after passing the tests can they be used. During the strength test, the test pressure should be 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the duration should not be less than 5 minutes. The valve casing and packing should have no leakage, which is considered qualified. During the tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times the nominal pressure; The test pressure should meet the requirements of GB 50243 standard during the duration of the test, and it is qualified if there is no leakage on the sealing surface of the valve disc. Manual, flange connected, rising stem wedge type rigid single gate valve, valve seat sealing surface material is stainless steel, nominal pressure PN10~PN63, valve body material is gray cast iron (PZ41H-10 PZ41H-16), carbon steel (PZ41H-10C-63) slag discharge gate valve.
