The chemical stability of the passive oxide film on its surface in corrosive media. For neutral, oxidizing, and weakly reducing media environments, passive oxide films themselves have good stability. For reducing corrosive media with high temperature or low pH value, in order to improve the stability of their passive oxide film, corrosion inhibitors (such as air, water, heavy metal ions, and anions) can be added, such as surface ion modification treatment of titanium, anodizing treatment, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance and surface hardness of titanium in reducing corrosive media and meet the requirements of use.
