The company has designed a 0.7 second hard sealed high-temperature and high-pressure cut-off ball valve to cooperate with the research and development of nuclear testing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University,the valve has successfully passed the test.The success of the valve test symbolizes that the [Zhonghang brand] valve has risen a step by using the valve under harsh working conditions in domestic. The opening and closing time of the valve after ventilation is only 0.7 seconds.
Technical features: A quick shut-off valve developed in conjunction with Shanghai Jiao Tong University Nuclear Test. The valve is installed at the middle pipeline of the nuclear reactor,during the test operation, the temperature and pressure of the nuclear reactor rise linearly,when using nuclear energy, the pipeline needs to be opened and quickly closed for no more than 1 second before normal testing can be carried out. Product advantages:
- The valve seat adopts a spring structure, which pushes the valve seat towards the sphere, ensuring good low-pressure sealing performance.
- Both the front and back valve seats of the fixed ball valve can be sealed, which is known as the bidirectional sealing feature,by using the built-in discharge valve, the middle chamber of the valve body can be discharged outward.
- The pivot adopts an anti blow out protection structure and low friction coefficient bearings. Has excellent performance, high reliability, and a wide range of applications.

Precautions for installation and use of ball valves:
- Be careful during installation and construction, and avoid hitting the valve.
- Before installation, the ball valve should be inspected to verify its specifications and model, and to identify any damage, especially for the valve stem. Rotate it a few more times to see if it is skewed, as the valve stem is most likely to be knocked off during transportation. Also, remove any debris inside the valve.
- When lifting a ball valve, the rope should not be tied to the hand wheel or valve stem to avoid damaging these components,it should be tied to the valve body.
- The pipeline connected to the ball valve must be cleaned thoroughly. Compressed air can be used to blow away iron oxide shavings, mud and sand, welding slag, and other debris. These debris not only easily scratch the sealing surface of the ball valve, but also block the small valve with large particles (such as welding slag), causing it to fail.
- Leave a position for the valve handle to rotate during installation.
- Ball valves cannot be used for throttling purposes.
- Ball valves with transmission mechanisms should be installed upright.
