DP25 steam pressure reducing valve spirax sarco has made significant improvements on the basis of traditional pressure reducing valves, using a more excellent new material diaphragm and greatly increasing the working area, making the feedback accuracy of the diaphragm higher and the pressure regulation more precise and stable. The diaphragm adopts new materials and greatly processes the working area, so subtle changes in upstream pressure or downstream load of the valve can be timely and accurately fed back to the main valve diaphragm to adjust the opening of the main valve and ensure the stability of downstream pressure. It can be used for pressure control of steam, compressed air, and other gases, with a size range of DN15 to DN150 and a pressure rating of 1.6 to 2.5 MPa. Suitable for steam and compressed air systems. Installation and usage diagram: Product features:
- The maximum pressure reduction ratio is as high as 20:1, and the previous two stages of pressure reduction can now be achieved with just one stage.
- Due to the large size of the diaphragm and the use of external detection structures, stable secondary pressure can be controlled.
- Due to the high Cv value, the flow rate and control ability have been greatly improved, and products with a nominal diameter 1-2 numbers smaller than usual can also be used.
- Due to the single spherical shape of the valve, its sealing performance is improved and the leakage is minimal.
- Can manage low pressures below 0.02Mpa.
- Multiple pilot valves can be installed and exchanged on the same valve body to achieve temperature control, upstream pressure control, remote switch control, etc. while stabilizing the pressure.
Execution standards: A-D-E: threaded or flange connection EN 1092 PN25, ANSI 300LB A-B-C: flange connection ANSI 150LB F-F: DP25 maximum operating temperature 220 ¡æ Attention: The pressure adjustment range of this series of products is 0.2-1.7 barg

Pressure reducing valve pressure regulation steps:
- Close the gate valve in front of the pressure reducing valve, open the gate valve behind the pressure reducing valve, create a downstream low-pressure environment, rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise to the highest position (relative to the lowest outlet pressure), and then close the gate valve behind the pressure reducing valve.
- Slowly open the gate valve in front of the pressure reducing valve until it is fully open.
- Slowly rotate the adjustment screw clockwise to adjust the outlet pressure to the required pressure (based on the gauge pressure behind the valve); After adjustment, lock it tightly.
- Lock the nut tightly and open the rear gate valve of the pressure reducing valve.
- If the outlet pressure is higher than the set pressure during adjustment, it must be readjusted from the first step, that is, it can only be adjusted from low pressure to high pressure.
Precautions for installation and use of pressure reducing valves:
Installation precautions:
- The installation of valves must be carried out by qualified professionals. When tightening, the hexagonal parts on the same side should be tightly clamped. It is recommended to use polytetraethylene raw material tape or professional sealing glue for sealing. When installing and tightening valves, the corresponding torque wrench or pipe wrench must be used first, and the effective thread length can be screwed in. Do not exceed the limit to cause damage and leakage to the top pressure inner end face.
- Before installing the pressure reducing valve, the pipeline system must be flushed and cleaned to prevent welding slag, oxide skin, and other dirt from entering the valve and affecting its normal operation.
- The pressure reducing valve should be installed in a place that is easy to maintain and operate, and must be installed horizontally and vertically on a horizontal pipeline. Attention should be paid to ensuring that the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body, and not installed in the opposite direction.
- When installing and using the pressure reducing valve, the bypass pipeline valve should be opened to discharge the mixture of condensate and steam in the pipeline, in order to prevent water debris from damaging the pressure reducing valve when the valve is opened. When there are no abnormal phenomena, slowly rotate the adjustment screw in a clockwise direction to adjust the outlet pressure to the required pressure (based on the gauge pressure behind the valve), then tighten the locking nut and screw on the protective cover.
- A filter should be installed before the pressure reducing valve to prevent impurities in the medium from entering the valve and affecting its performance.
